There is such an image on the eyes of the westerners that when they arrive to Istanbul they will see men wearing FEZ ,
woman in black wails and a very dangerous place for women to walk on the streets. This is what many people think.
When they make news on Turkey they go to the far end of the city and take the pictures of the bottom class people's life style.
TV's only show the fights and the evil things to get higher ratings.You think that Turkey is a very dangerous place to visit.
As a result you have the image they show you on media. Let's look through the eyes of a local now!!

     In my opinion the only danger when you are in Turkey are the wild car drivers. Turkey is recognized the most number
of traffic accidents in the world. And a second threat that I think is diarrhea!!!! more on this on health section.
Yes, many people who have not been to Turkey may think that Istanbul and Turkey is not safe. So they prefer to stay home.
On the other side people who have been here think that it was even more safer to stay in Turkey then to do shopping in their country.
Let me ask you a question.
Do you know how many people get killed in your countries in the shopping malls as they do shopping.?
In Turkey it never happens, thanks to Allah. When you go into a shop the only danger is to spend all your money and getting
out with your jacket :)))
    Fianlly Turkey is at least as safe as your country. But as a tourist you need to watch out the facts above.
